Just in time for Christmas, this is a link to a story in Budget Travel magazine about the most mythical place on earth. Even though I traveled to Norway this past summer and into the Arctic Circle, I didn’t quite make it all the way to the North Pole. Perhaps next time.

As the sun sets over northern Norway perhaps Chrismas at the North Pole would be an adventure. I didn’t know, according to the article, that there are two North Poles. Tonight is Christmas eve and tomorrow will be Christmas day. Here’s wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

You’re welcome, Joy. I’m glad you liked it. Northern Norway is the closest I’ve ever come to the North Pole. There’s actually a shop up there on North Cape, Norway, called The Christmas House.
There’s something magical about beautiful sunsets, isn’t there? Our day today is actually quite gray as well, so I might be staring at this photo a bit myself to brighten things up. Let’s plan that tomorrow, at least, will be merry whatever the sky decides to do 🙂
